Our tournament setup requires two cameras per court to ensure the highest level of line calling accuracy. The two cameras operate as a single system, with the final call being made by the camera that has the better view of the ball.

For training and casual play, a single camera is all you should need.

Can one camera be used for line calling?

One camera may be suitable for recreational and practice matches. However, if your main priority is line calling accuracy, we recommend our dual-camera tournament setup. 

A single camera has only one viewing angle, so some close calls can be harder, especially when the ball is far from the camera, moving very fast, partially blocked, affected by lighting conditions, or close to the baseline.

Is using two cameras more accurate than one?

Using two cameras will improve line calling accuracy, as Baseline receives two different viewpoint and can rely on the camera with the better view for close calls.

For training and statistics, a single camera provides the level of accuracy expected by most players, coaches, and clubs.
